AIT Engineer(s) - Assembly, Integration and Test - Space Industry (m/f)

In order to reinforce and expand its project and program activities, LuxSpace is recruiting for immediate employment: AIT Engineers for system engineering, verification and testing.

Job Profile:
The AIT Engineer is part of the AIT team at LuxSpace. He/she is involved in upcoming Assembly, Integration and Testing tasks on a Ku-band Telecommand- and Telemetry Subsystem for commercial Satellite Projects as well as in the LuxSpace internal Micro Satellite development activities. The AIT Engineer reports to the AIT Manager, a key role of the Systems Engineering & Verification team.

Required Skills and Tasks to be performed:
  • Timely preparation and compilation of required AIT documents such as plans, test procedures, test specifications, test reports, and technical notes
  • Preparation and implementation of standard AIT boards such as TRR, PTR and TRB
  • Develop and implement automated test procedures as script files including synoptics
  • Experience in SCOS2000
  • Autonomous execution of AIT test activities on different units/equipment and integrated satellite models
  • Evaluation and assessment of test results
  • Definition and procurement of required EGSE and MGSE including software

Candidate Profile and Qualities:
  • University degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) or equivalent in electrical engineering, space technology, information technology or comparable field
  • Experience in AIT fields gained in a professional position, preferably in the Aerospace industry, would be an asset
  • Professional experience in use of EGSE and test tools
  • Hands-on experience
  • Good knowledge of radio frequency
  • Substantial knowledge in one or more of the following subsystems: AOCS, TMTC, OBDH, power systems, and payloads would also be an asset
  • Availability to work on 24 hours (3 shift scheme), during the weekend and abroad for test and possible launch campaigns
  • Ability to work and interface with a multinational team
  • Self-motivated; taking responsibility and being proactive
  • Willingness to travel
  • Languages: Good English language skills (spoken and written), German and/or French knowledge will be considered an asset
  • Driving license desirable (class B)
  • EU citizenship or valid Luxembourg work permit mandatory (for nationals from non-EU-countries or countries treated as such). Non-EU citizens without valid Luxembourg work permit cannot be taken into consideration. Information on legal restrictions and requirements:
